‘Do one thing: live the life you always wanted to live. Avoid criticising others and concentrate on fulfilling your dreams. This may not seem very important to you, but God, who sees all, knows the example you give is helping Him to improve the world. And each day, He will bestow more blessings upon it’ – Paulho Coelho
The ‘secret of life’ isn’t a simple issue. The actual ‘secret’ is maintaining a sense of happiness in the face of the greatest adversity. That’s the secret. The reason to do good and manage your life according to success principles is so that when the sh1t hits the fan and life seems bleak and everything is going wrong, you know that you are a good person. That’s all. The ‘secret’ will not necessarily bring you success and certainly there is no instantaneousness if it does happen. Forget it.
Are you comfortable in your own skin? That’s what it’s all about.
You need to have a backup plan if the SECRET isn’t bestowed on you. Mine is to keep pursuing my dream and never give up. Not giving up does not mean blindly continuing down the same path. Sometimes failure is a hint to change strategies or plans. However, the dream must continue. Hard work is the secret to having more happy days than bad.
I have a wish/dream/goal list that includes many things. I know that few of those will be realised and maybe I need a more realistic list. But what the hell, I don’t believe I will achieve most but there isn’t any harm in aiming high.
The Law of Goals
Make sure your reach always exceeds your grasp. Have unrealistic, audacious goals. Then set out to achieve some of them. The universe loves exceedingly brave courage.
This Law is one that motivates the psyche in a big way. As a human being you don’t go forward unless you dream it first. Thoughts proceed actions and great (life changing) thoughts have an enormous power to motivate great actions. In addition to the powerful actions that come about, thinking of yourself as achieving new heights has a way to stimulate happiness.
