One of the best ways to get to living a Life Less Ordinary is to have a personal Mission Statement that you can carry with you as your ‘safety net’ and something to remind you, in times of trouble and despair, that you have a moral code you can turn too.
My Mission Statement is ‘Be generous, be grateful and be kind, and take everyone you work with to their best place!’
It has come in very handy on the sad and lonely days when my road seems strewn with boulders. If I act out on my Mission Statement to reach out to just one person and help, I’m filled with a new joy. And, likewise, on the great days doing the same helps to bed down the great feelings.
All round having such a tool in your tool kit is a great asset for joy, peace and happiness. If you don’t have a personal mission statement, develop one now. Write it down, post it were you can see it and read it often.
And so on to the next topic. Next week … ‘The Law of A Fearless Life’.
