The law of celebration & appreciation

celebration1As human beings we love celebrating events. Events such as religious holidays, birthdays, weddings and the like. These occasions give us cause to be joyous as we acknowledge what we should on these days.

However, celebration should not be reserved only for special occasions. On a daily basis people around us are achieving great heights. We should make a point of telling our colleagues or our loved ones that we notice.

Marking people’s achievements, both big and small, makes them feel special. Send a card, email, SMS or personal message. It is also a good idea to acknowledge their winnings publicly if you are a leader. This idea grows people and grows us who give.

So look for occasions to acknowledge and celebrate. Do it often and consistently and you will notice a huge change in how people relate to you.

Over the next two weeks I want to share two seemingly contradictory Laws, starting with … ‘The Law of Saying Yes’.
